Arial Image Higgins Auto Wrecking was started by Dexter Higgins, my father-in-law in November 1951. He originally farmed cotton on the ten acre site. In June of 1972 I entered the business as a partner. I purchased his interest in the business in March of 1980. We had three employees, one tow truck and one forklift. In 1984 we expanded and purchased a body shop and auto repair shop at a different location. In 1987 we purchased our first computer and began a new age by starting to computerize our business
In 1989 we went to full computerization with the Hollander Yard Management System. In 1992 we built a new auto repair shop. Also in 1992 we purchased another wrecking yard and named it Auto-Mart Dismantling and specialized in foreign only at that location. My son Phillip Ball runs and manages that yard.We presently employ fifteen people, have five information systems; EDEN by Hollander, Incomenet, Cal-Quick, ORION, and Hotlines Inc. One Voice Line. We have seven forklifts and three delivery vehicles.

All of our inventory is in the computer and available nationwide through ADP Hollander's EDEN, their Insurance Networks, and Body shops. We have over 3,000 dismantlers nationwide that our inventory is available to. Our inventory is updated daily.

We primarily deal in vehicles 1995 and newer. Autos, trucks, vans, 4x4s and foreign autos. We ship anywhere in the USA, Alaska, and Hawaii. We can locate almost any part in less than one minute. Our system can scan 40 million parts in literally seconds
